The programme’s heart is fellowship: learning together, listening to one another and finding encouragement in scripture. As girls reflect on the word of God, they are encouraged to consider how faith can guide their choices, relationships and the way they treat others.

Confidence, dignity and purpose

Every girl deserves to be treated with dignity and to know that her voice matters. Girl Mommy encourages young people to recognise their value and to use their words and actions to bring kindness and hope to those around them. The scripture passages below express the faith and purpose at the centre of this vision.

1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.

As God is equipping them, they will also witness and bring other girls to the kingdom of God through the Mommy Vision.
